One thing I have never understood: why does the charge shot only use up one round of the ScR clip? Because the charge is so powerful, it would potentially be more balanced if the charge used up 5 rounds (for example).

EDIT: unless people think the overheat is enough of a balance mechanic.

But a very powerful gun in skilled hands.

More so really, given the massive amount of damage a ScR user has in the magazine and in total, e.g.:

Total magazine damage: Duvolle - 2244; Imperial - 3564
Total ammunition damage: Duvolle - 11220; Imperial - 17820

That's even without taking charge shots

Especially for non-Amarr assault ScR users, heat management is crucial, but ammo management, not so much.

I have the Viziam SCR, but I don't think I have actually ever used it. I never really feel the need to use proto anything, but I absolutely love scrambler rifles; best weapon idea CCP ever implemented in the game.

It just dawned on me that a charged shot of the scrambler does more damage than a sniper shot. It uses a single round of ammunition.

It has a high fire rate, it still smashes armour, works great at range or up close..... why use anything else? And people defend that rifle? LOL

The most deadly less talked about weapon that the Nerf Hunters don't know about and/or even speak of its name. That weapon is just absolutely terrifying. When I die fast and I see the "Killed By" screen, I find it not surprising that my quick death was due to the enemy using a Viziam.
